Planning and organizing meetings involves a lot of manual work. With Topical, you ensure that the planning, preparation, and follow-up of meetings are streamlined.
Today, the Topical App has been updated and the process of planning meetings has changed slightly from what you’re used to. In this email, we will explain this to you.
The New Meeting Planner
You still plan meetings using a template. However, from now on, you will go through several steps before the meetings are created. This way, you gain more control over what exactly is created, who receives invitations, and much more.
Step 1
Select a template, adjust the title/goal of the meeting as desired.
Step 2
Choose the date (of the next meeting), the location, and any recurrence.
Step 3
Review the participants, their access rights, and send the invitations.
Step 4
Review step 1, 2 and 3 and schedule the meetings.
Email Reminders
Topical sends your colleagues email reminders about outstanding action points. Previously, you could set this to receive daily (at 6:00 AM) or weekly on Monday (at 6:00 AM).
As of today, you can expand the preferences, allowing you to decide how many reminders you receive and when you receive these reminders.
Click on ‘your profile’ at the top right of the application. Then click on ’email reminders’ to adjust your preferences.
